Rise and Shine Challenge Week 3

It’s time for Week 3 of the Rise and Shine Challenge. Eating a healthy breakfast is a vital part of the weight loss process. Every successful weight loss story I’ve ever read talks about eating breakfast. In addition to upgrading your morning routine as we discussed in Week 1 and adding morning activity as we talked about in Week 2; Let’s try to eat a healthy breakfast. Here is the Week 3 Worksheet for the Rise and Shine challenge. If you’re in a hurry in the morning, don’t let that be an excuse. Here are some quick and healthy breakfast ideas to get your day started on the right track.

*Low-fat cheese and tomato slices on a whole-wheat English muffin
*High-fiber cereal with fat-free or lowfat milk and dried or fresh fruit
*Peanut butter and jelly on multi-grain bread
*Low-fat yogurt and a grain-rich cereal bar
*A banana and a small handful of peanuts or almonds
*A smoothie made from fat-free or light vanilla yogurt with skim milk, ice cubes and berries
*Egg whites scrambled in a nonstick pan with vegetables, served with light toast
