One of my go-to easy breakfasts is oatmeal. But it’s always fun to mix up the add-ins. For today’s all natural oatmeal recipe. I mixed in sliced almonds, golden raisins and walnuts.
Its super easy, I made it in the kitchen at work. I added hot water from the coffee maker to a bowl of oats and microwaved for 1 minute. Then I added a handful of almonds, golden raisins and walnuts. I also sprinkled a little cinnamon over it. (I keep a Ziploc bag of oats and a mini Tupperware container with cinnamon in my desk.)
The golden raisins give it a pop of sweetness, no artificial sweetener or sugar needed. I had a banana on the side. It’s all natural, filling, and packed with protein. What are your favorite oatmeal toppings?
