K. Kids: None, zip, zero…Let’s get the boyfriend/fiancé/husband first.

M. Mom’s name: Carlean (don’t get me Mama for telling your name on the internet)

O. Overnight hospital stays: Allergic reaction to medication, my lip was swollen up like The Klumps
P. Pet peeve: Women with poor hygiene, that ain’t right!

S. Siblings: One biological sister (My Big Lil Sister) and one adopted… My cousin’s mom died 7 years ago, and my parents adopted her (My Little Sister). I luv those chicas and talk to them everyday.

V. Vegetables you dislike: Beets, ugh. But everyday I’m learning to like new ones.
W. What makes you run late: Trying to find the “other shoe” or pick an outfit that doesn’t need to be ironed.
X. X-rays: That’s a weird question, I broke my collar bone twice as a child.
Y. Yummy food you make: Peach Cobbler aka Crack Cobbler, people are addicted.
Z. Zoo favorite animal: Leopard, I love leopard print everything.

  1. Hey Carli! Thank you so much for creating your C25K podcasts, they are a lifesaver! I completed my second workout today and am feeling so excited to make this a new habit. I do have one suggestion, for people who are really not in condition, or greatly overweight, it helps to start out doing only 1/2 of the runs. My legs are so sore, but I think that starting at this pace will help me stick with it. You rock!

  3. Claire, I agree totally, when I first started I was already working out, and it was still very hard. If you are extremely overweight (like I was) or completely inactive, Week 1 can be a real challenge. I always say listen to your body and don’ t over do it. It’s not a race to get through the 9 weeks on time. I think it took me about 11 or 12 weeks to finish my first Couch to 5K triaining. Good Luck, and I hope to see you on my wall of fame.
