I was in my car on the way to get new running shoes and then hit the gym for my 10K training. I decided I wanted to hear some Justin Timberlake and while digging for the CD I ran across these two free passes. One for a free cookie at McDonald’s and one for a free 7 day membership at the gym. I thought that was such an odd yet almost poetic depiction of my food and fitness. Eat the cookies and attempt to run myself skinny, despite the fact that I know it all just balances out. I didn’t go get the free cookie, but I did go to the gym and briskly walked 2.5 miles. I really should’ve done 3 but I didn’t have it in me today. But I’m still on my way to a 10K!
