Forest Gump said “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get.”  Well I ate almost an entire box of chocolates in 2 days, and I know exactly what I’m going to get.  Extra pimples and extra pounds….*sigh*  I got frustrated and stressed over the weekend, and turned to the chocolates.  When will I ever learn that the chocolate high is only temporary?  My weight watcher meeting and weigh in was today, but I didn’t go.  My back and shoulders were still sore from the accident, and I was tired.  And on top of that, honestly, I just didn’t want to face the scale to see the magic numbers that I seem let dictate my life.  I guess I’ll do what I have to do, to get out of this funk; focus on the positive.  Even though, I can’t work out or go running, I am making progress with my fitness DVD preparations.

People are real quick to try to steal your creative ideas, which is why I haven’t talked about my DVD in great detail.  But, I have a location for filming, a great videographer, most of the original music tracks (from my friend who did all the instrumental stuff on the podcasts), and most of my backup “dancers.”  It’s going to be fabulous! I even have a graphic design artist working on my “Fat to Fit to Fierce” logo.  You’ll be able to have Carli working out with you in your living room every night 🙂 However, unless I hit the lottery, or some rich man falls in love with me, it will be several months before things get rolling.  Professional video production and duplication is VERY expensive and I just started back working.  But everything is coming along rather nicely, and I will be featured on Oprah or Tyra! I can see it now… “Carli lost over 100 pounds and has helped people all over the world lose weight and feel great with her inspirational blog, podcasts, and fitness DVDs!” Dream Big Baby!

  1. You’re amazing! Don’t let those chocolates get you down. A great quote I heard on Fat to Fit Radio: “A lot of people worry about what they eat between Thanksgiving and New Year’s. What matters is what you eat between New Year’s and Thanksgiving.” – as long as you do well the rest of the year, don’t fret!!

I also wanted to let you know how great your podcast is! It’s really been helping me with my second run-through of the C25K. Keep being fabulous!

  2. I’ll can’t wait for your dvd 😀

you will get there, keep ya chin up!
